Closing lines

Browsing around the internet tonight, I found this little gem: a list of favourite closing lines from famous books. Being quite the book nerd myself, I have read the majority of the books listed - my absolute favourite being "the Life of Pi" by Yann Martel. Another one I'd recommend is "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath. I like its closing line because it is a great example of the very colourful and metaphorical language that makes, in my opinion, "The Bell Jar" such an amazing read.
